TAA

If you have experience with fundraising and development, check out this opportunity to make a big impact on our small organization.

You will:

  • guide our team as we build capacity by launching an effective fundraising campaign
  • help plan fundraisers and events
  • build relationships with funders and individual donors in our community
  • identify opportunities for partnership and resource sharing
  • dedicate about 5-10 hours per month to fundraising and development work
Ideally, you have:
  • prior experience with grassroots organizing
  • demonstrated effective fundraising and development efforts with other organizations
  • experience with event planning
  • connections to the farm-to-school community are a plus, but certainly not required
You will work for an organization that:
  • was one of the first farm-to-school organizations in our area
  • consistently has more demand for programming than we can meet
  • impacts over 1,000 K-8 students annually in Ann Arbor Public Schools
  • partners with other farm-to-school organizations in the county to share resources and best practices
  • focuses on teaching kids about the health of our bodies, our land, and our environment (and how they're all connected)

If this sounds like a good opportunity for you, please get in touch!

Mission Statement

The Agrarian Adventure partners with K-12 schools to enrich students’ connection between the foods they eat, their personal health, and the health of their communities and the environment. Through experiential education in sustainable food and agriculture, local food, and healthy learning in the cafeteria, we connect students to the sources of their food and empower them to transform their lives and food culture in positive ways.
