I am looking for a volunteer to tutor a very beginning English (ESL) class of 3-10 adult students from all over the world. The class will be from 11am-12:30pm every Monday and Wednesday in the Orange Literacy office (2nd floor of Carr Mill Mall). It will begin in mid-October and run indefinitely. Interested tutors should be willing to commit at least 6 months to volunteering. Tutors prepare their own lessons, but we provide initial training, materials & resources, and ongoing support. Some ESL teaching experience is preferred but not required for this position.
This is a great volunteer opportunity for anyone with some time in the middle of the day who wants to help immigrants and refugees!
More information on volunteering with Orange Literacy can be found on our website: http://orangeliteracy.org/volunteer/
Please email me (Tyler Gilmore) at email@example.com with any questions or to express interest. Thanks!
