Make a real difference in someone's life!
Great Lakes Caring Hospice, a leading care provider in the Midwest, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families.
Do you enjoy crafting, pinterest and using your creativity? We are looking for volunteers to make cards for our patients on their birthdays and holidays. Receiving a handmade card can brighten a patient's day and improve their well-being! Additionally, we are looking for crafters to assist us in making little gifts for patients over the holidays - bring your creativity!
Can you knit or sew? Our patients could use any of the following: lap blankets, neck pillows, wheelchair or walker caddies, catheter bags and hand pillows.
Share your talent today and make a difference in the lives of our seniors. Hours are very flexible, with opportunities to work from home, evenings and weekends. Volunteers are asked to commit to at least two days a month (2 hours each day).
