Hello 'GBH Volunteers!

Summer is "leafing" us behind, and now it’s time to fall into our autumn events. There are plenty of ways to get involved in October. Be the coolest kid in the class and sign up to volunteer first!

Tuesday, October 24: WGBH and the Boston Public Library Present Financial Fitness for Folks Under 40 (Part One)

Location: WGBH Studio at the Boston Public Library, located at 700 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02116

Description: WGBH and Boston Public Library present a two-part conversation with certified financial planner Eric Roberge about ways to get the most out of your money. Guests can learn to prioritize their goals and create a process to keep them on track, regardless of what life throws at them. Part One is all about mastering the essentials of money management. How do you save for retirement when you are still paying student loans? Should you take the job you love or the one that pays more? How should you be managing your debt? Part Two is scheduled for Tuesday, November 28.

Position/Shift: Registration/Greeter using an iPad to check-in guests and enter email sign-ups (5:30-8pm) and Photographer (6:45-8pm)

Home video and podcasts, teaching tools for schools and home-schooling, services for people with hearing or vision impairments...we're always looking for new ways to serve the community!
