ORGANIZATION: Community Education Partnerships

Over 300,000 homeless youth are in Califonia schools. Children experiencing homelessness need extra time and attention to succeed in school. We train and match our volunteer tutors with students in their community who then meet weekly to focus on learning. Community Education Partnerships is seeking volunteer tutors for students in San Leandro for the 2017-18 school year.

As a volunteer tutor with Community Education Partnerships, you will be matched with a K-12th grade student who needs academic support and encouragement. Volunteers meet with their students for at least one hour each week, typically between 3pm-7pm.

Volunteer trainings are coming up so don't delay - students are waiting! Go to www.cep.ngo/volunteer to apply. (Please indicate in your application that you are applying to be a one-on-one tutor).

THANK YOU!!
