About HISTORY IN YOUR HANDS FOUNDATION

Location:

31 N CLARK ST, CHICAGO, IL 60602, US

Mission Statement

We provide educators with historical objects to support and enhance the studies of both US and World History. Our goal is to provide students the opportunity for hands-on interaction with historical objects, thereby promoting interest and enjoyment in history via an enrich learning experience!

Description

We believe teachers have one of the hardest jobs there are and each teacher knows their students best. Therefore HIYHF is here to help add to the learning experience, complimenting the particular area of study. We don't take over the classroom, but rather join forces with educators in order to maximize learning potential. Bring Egypt, Rome or Greece to life, study coins from 7th century B.C. to modern age, as well as examine historical maps from centuries past.

Every one of the pieces we can bring have a story to tell. Contact us today to find out how we can bring history to life in your classroom!
