Community Girl Scout Troop at Kiser PreK-6 - Helping Hands for Daisies

This year we have started a Community Troop for the Girls at Kiser PreK-6 school. Girl Scout Staff is leading the effort, but extra hands are needed for crafts, songs and games, and field trips. This troop meets every other Tuesday from 3:55 - 5:00 p.m. Volunteers for this opportunity will need to be a registered Girl Scout Member and pass a background check for the safety of the girls. The fees for the Membership Fee and Background check are waived for this opportunity.

Volunteers help council staff facilitate the New Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls through exciting program opportunities: leadership/self-esteem, financial literacy, travel, health/wellness, science, technology, engineering, and math. Volunteers choose from several flexible Pathways (the ways that girls and adults join Girl Scouting) that fit their lifestyles, including short-term or long-term service working either directly or indirectly with girls, and they can participate regionally, nationally, and internationally.
