Do you enjoy gardening? Want to learn some hands-on gardening? Do you want to help feed our community? Come join us for Saturdays in the Garden!
Every Saturday from 8am-10amat the Florence Community Garden we garden the community plots. All of the produce raised in these plots is donated back out to the community through food banks and shelters.
Saturdays in the Garden are open to everyone, regardless of gardening experience level! Families welcome! Tasks include garden bed prep, weeding, planting, and harvesting, just to name a few!
Florence Community Garden is located at the corner of North 30 th St. and Bondesson St. behind the Shell gas station.

It began for the purpose of connecting individuals and groups to promote local, sustainable, businesses that improve self-sufficiency and regional food security through advocacy and action. To help support this effort, No More Empty Pots, collaborates with a coalition of public and private organizations, businesses, communities, individuals, and entrepreneurs.
