Join EcoWorks Co-Founder Sherill for a jewelry sort and price get-together! Donations of jewelry to EcoWorks can be used in several ways. For instance, watches can be disassembled to use their mechanical parts to make other jewelry, artwork, etc. Costume jewelry can be grouped together into fun themes to package together for a kit that could be integrated into outfits for a theatrical play, a halloween party mask or costume, or some glam in a painting or collage. Using magnifying glasses and google searches, any stamps on jewelry can be investigated to understand the jewelry's origin and market value. Feel free to join for the whole time 6-7:30pm, or any portion of time in between. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Description
Creative Reuse Center; we sell low-cost art supplies to support teachers, artists and other creative people. Materials are industrial scrap and business surplus in addition to donations from individuals. 2. reBoutique gift shop; consign with Connecticut based artists who use reclaimed materials in their work. 3. reCraft; we provide workshops and classes as well as a DIY maker-space Crafteria). We also offer workshops on how to use the scrap and environmental classes. We also house a reBoutique gift shop that showcases upcycled and repurposed goods made by CT artisans.
News Flash: We have moved to 89 State Street, North Haven. Just want to let you know that there are no buses that run to out new store. We''ve packed everything up at the store and most of our materials are now in the new store. Our challenge is going to be unpacking and setting up our new store. We're not quite ready for new volunteers at this time. However, by mid August we will be thrilled to have lots more hands! If you're interested you can still send us an email.
