Have some experience working in business? Looking for a way to give back to your community? We’re recruiting volunteers to share their knowledge and work experience with the leaders of tomorrow! JA works to encourage elementary and middle school students to make smart financial decisions, develop employability skills and learn about business and entrepreneurship. JA relies on the experience and enthusiasm of volunteers like yourself to inspire almost 30,000 students across southern Alberta every year!
We are seeking volunteers from all educational and professional backgrounds to facilitate our experiential, hands-on programs in local elementary and middle schools.
The volunteer time commitments are varied and average 4 hours (usually over the course of one morning). You can volunteer on one single occasion or as many times as you’d like!
JA provides all of the program materials, presentation aids, and a 90 minute training session to help you prepare for the classroom. Volunteers also deliver the program in pairs for extra support.
Help build a generation based on passion, persistence and creativity! Current volunteer opportunities are listed on our website, by program: http://jasab.ca/programs/
