Inland Empire United Way’s 211 San Bernardino County Initiative provides timely, effective access to accurate and comprehensive information and referrals for the residents of San Bernardino County, provides public information support in times of disaster and answers several specialized lines for assistance in such areas as CalFresh, child abuse reporting, reentry and after hours calls for other agencies. 211 San Bernardino County is the trusted source of verified health and social service information, designed to assist people in overcoming barriers.

The Homeless Marketing Coordinator will assist in expanding awareness of the need in our community by going on homeless outreach events and capturing the living conditions of people in homeless situations and spread the word through social media platforms, creating brochures, posters, and presentations to shine a light on homelessness. Volunteers will educate and empower individuals facing homelessness by providing 211 resources.

Additional duties include, joining the homeless outreach team in visiting housed individuals to take pictures and ask a few questions to put their story together. Sit with the Pathway Home team to pull calls related to the individual’s stories and help compile stories for Pathway Home. Work side by side with Inland Empire United Ways Marketing Director.
