ORGANIZATION: Northwest Association for Blind Athletes

The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) will be holding a hiking experience for blind and visually impaired athletes in Sublimity, OR on September 23rd from 10:30am-2:30pm. The hike will take place at Silver Falls State Park, and will be a total of 7.2 miles long. We are looking for volunteers to assist in guiding our athletes through the hike. Volunteers should be experienced hikers, but do not need to have previous experience working with individuals who are blind or visually impaired. If interested transportation can be provided from SE Portland .

Our athletes leave behind sedentary isolated lives and they gain skills, confidence and joy.
