Skyline

The Christmas Grace program at Skyline seeks to connect impoverished families with gifts they otherwise wouldn't be able to afford.

For the first stage of the process, parents/guardians will begin calling Skyline starting on the 25th to make appointments. Skyline is seeking people who will be able to take calls, answer questions, and help schedule days/times for people to visit. This will also include informing them of the documents they will be expected to bring.

During the second stage, when patrons arrive for the appointments, volunteers will be needed to assist in the filling out of paperwork and helping complete the familys' wishlists.

Groups and individuals are both welcome to volunteer for this opportunity.

Bilingual volunteers who can help translate for Spanish-speaking patrons are especially needed on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Monday and Wednesday shifts available from 9 am - 12 pm.
Tuesday and Thursday shifts available from 9 am - 3 pm.

Orientation will be provided.

Mission Statement

Skyline’s mission is to impact lives, empower those in need and to address the roots of poverty in Oklahoma.

Description

Skyline has served the OKC community for over 40 years. Our agency is a mission of the United Methodist Church which offers different services for at-risk & under-served adults, youth and children. In addition to the Food Resource Center, Skyline is home to several other programs meant to assist those struggling with poverty.
