ORGANIZATION: Alzheimer's Association - Long Island Chapter

Responsibilities:
-Assist in developing and contributing to public relations and marketing activities, including press releases, publicity materials and digital collateral -Collaborate on ideas for social media and e-mail marketing posts -Coordinate with news media, as assigned, in the development of news stories -Assist with updating and creating event-related materials using design programs -Maintain up-to-date records on media impressions and media contacts -Some travel required to distribute outreach materials and attend special events

Minimum requirements: -Experienced with social media marketing on platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, LinkedIn -Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher) and Adobe Create Suite. -Able to quickly learn additional programs, as necessary (Constant Contact and RedDot CMS) -Incredible attention to detail, excelling in correct spelling, punctuation and grammar
