Put on your garden gloves and help plant native species in tranquil Hallinan Woods. Friends of Hallinan Heights Woods have cleared out most of the invasives, so let the fun begin! There may be a few invasives to tackle, and if we see any trash we are giving it the Heave Ho! When you leave you will see the great impact you have made in the health of this incredible forest.
Parking: Hemlock or Hallinan St.
For every volunteer opportunity, we recommend that volunteers wear long pants, sturdy shoes and weather appropriate clothing. Feel free to bring heavy-duty work gloves, pruners and loppers. Before arriving, please fill out the Stewardship Volunteer Waiver on the LO Stewardship website: www.lo-stewardship.org. Please bring reusable water bottles; this simple step will assist us in our efforts to reduce waste.
