Neponset River Watershed is looking for 2-3 people who can play a part in development committee meetings once a month. You will join 4 other board members to lend your ideas and give input about how we can best engage individuals and businesses/corporations to raise money for NepRWA's specific projects. I am hoping to find someone with an interest in the environment, perhaps some former board experience but not a requirement, and someone who is not shy about voicing their ideas.
Our meetings will be only 1 hour long and we meet just about every month with the meetings divided between Tuesday's and Wednesday's.
This is a great opportunity to help raise awareness of the Neponset River and its watershed and to make a difference in local communities.

Our mission is to protect the water, wildlife and land of the Neponset River and Watershed.
Description
Since 1967, the members, volunteers and staff have led and continue to lead, an extraordinarily successful campaign to clean up and protect our water, waterways, and watershed lands.
We bring together citizens, scientists, engineers, and local officials to solve real world problems in different communities. Our most important work is at the city and town level, recruiting volunteers to test water and carry out hands on restoration projects, visiting schools to educate kids about conserving water, and working with communities to stop water waste and pollution.
Our goals are:

Open up recreational opportunities
Restore fish and wildlife habitats
