Volunteer at McAuliffe Park Nursery

Join the Green Kirkland Partnership on Arbor Day to help with the restoration of Crestwoods Park. Volunteers will spend the morning doing a mix of restoration activities which may include removing aggressive invasive species like ivy and Himalayan blackberry, spreading mulch over cleared areas, and planting native trees, shrubs and ground covers. No experience is necessary and we encourage volunteers of all ages to join us!

Register to Volunteer on the EarthCorps website.

What to Bring Please dress for the weather (layers are encouraged and rain gear is a must this time of the year), wear close-toed shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Bring a filled water bottle and snacks to munch on. Tools and training will be provided.

Parking is available in the parking lot.

Meeting point We meet to the north of the ball fields--look for the Green Kirkland Partnership and EarthCorps signs.

Youth Volunteering Volunteers age 14-17 attending the event without a parent or guardian must bring a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to the event with them. Download the Green Kirkland Youth Volunteer Waiver. Volunteers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
