Hey guys!!!! Glam U, Inc is in need of board members and volunteers for our amazing organization! We have been in the New Orleans area for about a year and need to re-build a solid team to maintain the vitality of our organization.
Here's a little background info on what our organization is about. If you feel you will be a good fit please contact us ASAP!!!!
Glam U, Inc was founded in May 2015 in Dallas, TX!
Our mission is to inspire girls to walk in their purpose!
WE LIKE TO REMIND OUR PARTICIPANTS THAT BEAUTY STARTS FROM WITHIN
Glam U, Inc is all about beauty....most importantly INNER beauty. We want all of our participants to understand the importance of being comfortable in their own skin and to not be afraid to show the world!
Glam U, Inc is a fashion-forward, confidence building entity. We pride ourselves on improving the lives of preteen and teenage girls in fashionable, fun, and innovative ways! Our main goal is to positively enhance the self-image and confidence of all our students and ultimately give them the motivation to excel in life!
We are looking for volunteers to assist with various tasks including but not limited to: administrative duties, event planning and organization, class assistant, marketing, board member, plus more!

Glam U's mission is to inspire girls to walk in their purpose. Our innovative programs focus on building inner beauty and self-esteem by connecting with girls through fashion, modeling lessons, and confidence building activities. We believe that confidence is key in every aspect of life and that all girls deserve to feel beautiful - inside and out!
Description
Glam U's motto is simple - beauty starts from within!
Through our partnership with the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission (NORDC), we are able to connect with girls throughout the city of New Orleans. Our target group is girls ages 5-17.
Current Program:
Glitz N Glam - targets inner beauty and outer beauty.
Inner beauty activities include topics such as: body image, personal hygiene and healthy relationships.
Outer beauty activities include: fashion/modeling classes, photo shoots, and fashion shows.
Other topics & activities: vision boards, financial literacy, and life skills.
Future Programs:
Glam U After School Program
By Fall 2019, our goal is to increase our impact by partnering with at least one local high school to create a personal development after-school program for girls.
Glam U Glambassadors
This year we are re-introducing our Glam U Glambassador program - our brand ambassador program for local girls! The Glambassador program creates leadership opportunities and helps the girls promote themselves at high levels of confidence! Glambassadors are the faces of Glam U, Inc.
