3Point Foundation is Boston based 501(c)(3) non profit and our charge is to provide educational and career opportunities to under-served youth in the Boston area through sports based activites and innovative educational curriculum. We are seeking experienced Video Editor Interns to join our cause. If you are passionate about athletics, education, youth empowerment, then we would love for you to be a part of the 3Point team.

3PointFoundation is seeking a rockstar Video Editor/Filmmaker intern. A young visionary filmmaker who can create content that makes people want more!Someone with technical and editing skills to craft 1-3 minute content/marketing pieces.This internship is open to anyone with the skills but a film student or a recent graduate would be ideal.We are seeking someone with experience and equipment to tell our story in a professional manner.This Intern will work with the Marketing/Design Team to create and edit video to use on 3Point's website along with our Facebook , Twitter and YouTube/Vimeo pages.

Responsibilites:
Work with the Marketing/Design Team to brainstorm creative concepts for internal and promotional campaign videos
Publish videos to YouTube/Vimeo
Develop animated pieces for our website and social media channels
Conceptualize and craft personalized "thank you" videos for our donors and partners
Assist in organizing digital assets library and catalogue footage to ensure the best photos and videos are easily accessible, searchable and credited to the right photographer/videographer

Skills required:
Intermediate knowledge of video editing and production
Pursuing and/or recent graduate in Video Production and/or a strong understanding of computers and multimedia applications
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite-Illustrator, Photoshop, After effects and Premiere.
An understanding of of technical aspects of video and audio compression, including playback settings for a variety of platforms,devices, online and interactive programs
Strong personal interest in video, social media and multimedia design
Ability to use some of your own equipment/software and/or access to above software
A multi-tasker !

Description

Started in 2012, The3PointFoundation is a non-profit organization that offers unique educational programs. We are a community partner of the Shamrock Foundation and provide programming in collaboration with the University of Massachusetts Boston. Our work is supported by a number of preeminent local foundations and businesses. In 2017, we ran programming in seven schools in the City of Boston. Since our founding, we have provided successful programing in over 20 Boston schools.

We create social/emotional and project based learning moduals which promote critical thinking, adaptablity, problem solving, social emotional intelligence and access to provide career opportunites to underserved youth in the Boston area.
