3PointFoundation is Boston based 501(c)(3) non profit and our charge is to provide educational and career opportunities to under-served youth in the Boston area through sports based activities and innovative educational curriculum. If you are passionate about athletics, education, youth empowerment, then we would love for you to be a part of the 3Point team.

Empower 2 Play is looking for PR interns who flexes both sides of their brains and understands that a good idea is made intellectually and intuitively. Someone who thinks a ridiculous social campaign is a great idea- a Craftsman(or woman) of culture.
Responsibilities:
- Create and distribute press releases
- Fully support the PR strategy and execute it fully
- Communicate and build relationships with reporters and the community
- Build and update contact lists
- Schedule ,coordinate and attend various events
- Search for press clippings and maintain a database

Qualifications:
Strong desire to learn with a professional drive
Currently majoring in and/or graduate in Public Relations, Communications or Journalism.
Strong writing skills and a solid understanding of social media
Intellectually curious,persistent and takes initiatives

Mission Statement
Our mission is to develop rising high school students through sports based activities and project based learning for the purposes of creating civic-minded impactful leaders in their schools and global communities.
Description
Started in 2012, The3PointFoundation is a non-profit organization that offers unique educational programs. We are a community partner of the Shamrock Foundation and provide programming in collaboration with the University of Massachusetts Boston. Our work is supported by a number of preeminent local foundations and businesses. In 2017, we ran programming in seven schools in the City of Boston. Since our founding, we have provided successful programing in over 20 Boston schools.
We create social/emotional and project based learning moduals which promote critical thinking, adaptablity, problem solving, social emotional intelligence and access to provide career opportunites to underserved youth in the Boston area.
