ReSOURCE's Human Resources internship is an incredible opportunity to gain real-world experience in the human resources field and in non-profit administration. Depending on department needs and interests and abilities, the intern will hone skill by working both independently and with staff.

Intern Responsibilities & Potential Projects:

  • Improving our on boarding process.
  • Organization of current HR records.
  • Occasional Policy Research.
  • Assist with creating trainings for staff and AmeriCorps member.
  • Becoming familar with ReSOURCES's online employee website and propose ways to improve site; Assist with implementing those changes
  • Updating new employee orientation packets, and safety manager manuals
  • Assisting with other general office duties such as copying, filing, faxing, etc.
  • Other miscellaneous projects based on the needs of the department.
  • Helping transition to a paperless HR office.
  • Safety inspections for administrative office.
  • Assisting with the creation of an employee wellness survey, collecting and summarizing results.
Time Commitment:

  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, and online research).
