Help us spread the word about the resources and support for Blood Cancer Patients and their families. The Community Outreach Volunteer visits treatment centers, cancer wellness centers, and health fairs to ensure LLS materials are available for blood cancer patients. They also ensure that health care professionals are educated about LLS services available to their patients. Provides patient Access visibility at chapter events as needed.
Outreach is an integral step to help increase healthcare professional referrals and in turn, guide more blood cancer patients to LLS resources and services. This position has great opportunities to network and make professional contacts, have access to LLS events, and be part of a nationwide LLS community.

Mission Statement
The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. We work tirelessly to find cures and ensure patients can access the lifesaving treatments they need. When someone experiences the fear and uncertainty of a blood cancer diagnosis, we provide hope, compassion, education and support. Our impact is felt beyond blood cancer. The breakthrough treatments we helped advance for blood cancers are now improving the lives of people affected by many types of cancer.
