Are you passionate about hunger relief? Are you looking for some place to volunteer? Help us provide more food to those strugging with food insecurity in Montgomery County. We are looking for a volunteer driver that is expirenced driving a dock height refrigerated box truck. Having a or had a CDL license a bonus. A current CDL is not needed for this truck.
We are looking for someone that could do pick up and deliveries for us every Tuesday. One pick up is in Skippack at Alderfer eggs and the other is in Philly from Sharing Excess.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide healthy food to individuals, families and seniors struggling with food insecurity including those with dietary restrictions. We support over 65 hunger relief agencies in Montomgery County PA and work with 2 larger agencies in Bucks County to distribute to the hunger relief agencies there.
Description
We have two programs. One is our food bank and the other is our farm.
Last year we distributed just under 576,000 pounds of food to our partners. In the first 4 months of 2024 we have done over 600,000 pounds of food.
In 2023 we started on a new farm location in Hatfield PA. Everything grown on the farm is donated out to those struggling with food insecurity. According to a new Gallup Poll that is 26% of Americians!
