Tails to Tales Volunteer - Mt. Healthy Branch

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County

Do you have a therapy dog in your family? Do you and your therapy dog enjoy working with children? Tales to Tails Volunteers are an important part of our team, providing the opportunity to children to read to certified therapy dogs in the safe environment of the library. But, the dogs don’t do all the work! Volunteers work directly with our young patrons to help them improve their reading skills.

All volunteers must be approved by Volunteer Services prior to service. Our application and screening process includes: an online application, interview, reference check, and background check.

Online applications available at www.cincinnatilibrary.org/support/volunteer.html
