Do others describe you as friendly and approachable? Do you like interacting with people, especially children? Can you express yourself with your body movements without speaking? The Marketing and Programming team of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County seeks volunteers to serve as Mascot Volunteers for the characters of Rufus the Library Reading Dog and Red Card. Mascot Volunteers help promote the love of the Public Library by visiting with people at different events and places in Hamilton County. This is a fun and easy way for you to volunteer!
All volunteers must be approved by Volunteer Services prior to service. Our application and screening process includes: an online application, interview, reference check, and background check.
Online applications available at www.cincinnatilibrary.org/support/volunteer.html
