Dobson Ranch Library is seeking a volunteer to teach English as a Second Language classes to beginner and intermediate level adult students.
Saturdays 1:30-4:00, beginning is late October.
Requirements:
- Must complete a background check
- Strong desire to help others improve their English language skills
- Capable of engaging people of diverse backgrounds and age levels and is comfortable speaking in front of a group
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to speak, read and write English fluently
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous experience in tutoring and/or teaching adults is preferred
