ORGANIZATION: Mesa Public Library- Dobson Library

Dobson Ranch Library is seeking a volunteer to teach English as a Second Language classes to beginner and intermediate level adult students.

Saturdays 1:30-4:00, beginning is late October.

Requirements:

  • Must complete a background check
  • Strong desire to help others improve their English language skills
  • Capable of engaging people of diverse backgrounds and age levels and is comfortable speaking in front of a group
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to speak, read and write English fluently
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous experience in tutoring and/or teaching adults is preferred
