Bug Ball will have visitors stepping into the wonder and beauty of butterflies, insects, spiders and their other many-legged friends! Little bugaboos will be able to play games, create spook-tacular crafts and take home lots of loot after they visit our many Treat Houses. Hand-painted Treat Houses will be sprinkled throughout our outdoor Native Butterfly Garden. Little Ghosts and Goblins will also be able to spy on the amazing Owl Butterfly, which are only active during dusk and dawn.

Applicants under 18 must have their parent/legal guardian complete a Parent/Legal Guardian Consent Form in order to volunteer for Booterflies.

You will be stationed inside and/or outside the Butterfly House. Your assignment is to:

  • Assist children with crafts, games and educational activities
  • Hand out treats at a Treat House
  • Face-painting
  • Assist in Concessions
  • Provide guests with excellent customer service
  • Assist with guest check-in
