Share your time and talents at our ReStores Tuesday-Saturday with shifts from 9:30-5, this is to give you the flexibility to come early or stay later, we just ask you to commit to a three hour shift. Habitat ReStores are an essential part of our mission towards affordable housing! Everything that we sell in store goes towards our operations so that all other donations coming in go directly to funding home builds.
Opportunities include sorting household goods, pricing items, arranging furniture, inventory, and greeting and assisting customers. Our two ReStores are located at 900 Tidewater Drive in Norfolk and 955 Providence Square in Virginia Beach.
Volunteers must be 16 years old. Those under 18 volunteering without adult accompanying them will need a parent or legal guardian to sign a waiver and bring with them to their volunteer shift. To get a copy of the waiver please contact volunteer@shrhabitat.org, or you can download it from our website at www.shrhabitat.org/volunteer.
Want to commit on a regular basis? Let us know and we can provide you with more information about how you can use your skills and talents to support our Restores in our Blue Hat program. Training will be provided. Contact volunteer@shrhabitat.org and ask for more information.
