FREE VOLUNTEER HOSPICE TRAINING CLASS
Medical Services of America Hospice is offering a free volunteer training class. Learn about visiting with patients both at home and in facilities located throughout the Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties.
Learn to do activities like patient bedside sitting, active listening, assisting with errands, caregiver reprieve, pet care, reading, sharing hobbies or other special interests.
Volunteers can also learn administrative duties and special projects / activities assistance (bingo, ice cream socials, holiday-related events). Volunteering looks great on a job applications and college applications.
Traings are held on Thursday's from 9 am - 12 pm (Lunch will be provided)
