Impact a life, including your own! Searching for several "Hearts of Gold" to join our Volunteer Team!

Direct Patient Care/Companion/Caregiver Respite volunteers can provide a wide span of care to a patient and/or their family. Many times the patient can feel like a burden on their caregivers or family members and volunteers can help bring a new level of enrichment to their life when they need it the most. Sometimes the most simple activity can bring all the happiness into their hearts that will bring the kind of peace and comfort they and their family need.

Bereavement Companionship, and the 11th Hour Volunteer

This is a program we provide to our patients or family members who are not able to have family or friends surrounding them during their last hour. This is an opportunity to provide a level of comforting support to those in their final moments that will bring them grief support and companionship when you could feel alone and unsure of what is happening.

Volunteers who are assigned into this program are given 12 hours of initial orientation and training through our DON and Medical Social Workers. We will provide ongoing training and personal grief support to our volunteers and staff members.
