Toast Wayne is Wayne Main Street's signature fundraiser. The evening includes appetizers, silent auction, complimentary bar and live music. We are seeking volunteers to help with the following duties:
Wednesday, October 3rd
- Event Set Up Shift 1- Noon-4PM
- Event Set Up Shift 2- 4-7PM
- Event Set Up Shift 1 - Noon-4PM
- Event Set Up Shift 2- 4-7PM
- Check in/Registration - 4PM-9:30PM
- Silent Auction Monitor/Runner - 6-10PM
- Appetizer Sation Monitor - 6-10PM
- Event Clean Up - 8PM -11:30PM
- Event Clean Up Shift 1- 10AM-2PM
- Event Clean Up Shift 2- 2-5PM
Volunteers must be able to lift over 25lbs and be able to stand for extended periord of time. Volunteers with event experience preferred.

Description
Since 2014 Wayne Main Street, a grassroots organization has spearheaded the efforts of community partners and volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to create a vibrant downtown Wayne. WMS brings the community together to honor Wayne’s history and long-standing traditions and we celebrate efforts and investments that are enhancing appearances, strengthening the downtown economy, and paving the way to an exciting future.
Our collective actions are creating a ripple effect with far reaching impacts to touch the lives of all who have a stake in downtown Wayne today, and for generations to come.
Main Street works to market the downtown and all that it has to offer through cooperative advertising campaigns and special events that draw customers into the doors of our downtown businesses. Main Street continuously works to enhance the look of the downtown and improve the walkability through the installation of benches, the purchase of new self-watering flower planters, downtown clean up events, façade improvements, and more.
