The Spay/Neuter Commuter

If you love dogs and cats, as we do, you can help reduce the overpopulation and suffering of unwanted animals in Randolph County by joining our Spay/Neuter Sign Up and Transport Team. Our low-cost Spay/Neuter Program is an easy and economical way for people to have their pets neutered. Sign up for low-cost spay/neuter vouchers is on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month from 10 am to 1 pm. People can take their pets to Sheets Pet Clinic in Greensboro, or they can opt for free transportation on our 'Spay and Neuter Commuter' bus. The bus runs two Wednesdays per month, twice each day - there in early morning, and back in late afternoon. We need volunteers to sign people up for vouchers, and/or to load and ride along with the animals to the pet clinic. Each of these jobs involves working a shift of about 3 hours, twice a month.
