ONE DAY A WEEK in a hospice care agency.
Heartland Hospice Services
Welcome to Heartland Hospice,
We are a very busy office that serves as the home base for hospice services in Horry and Georgetown counties! Our greatest need is to have an clerical one or two days a week. Our volunteers assist with answering the phones, making information packets, organizing supplies and making copies. The staff in the office do all of the "behind the scenes" tasks making it possible for the clinical staff to do their jobs out in the community. Volunteers at Heartland are essential members of our team! Your participation will ensure that hospice patients in our area receive the best care available to them. YOU WILL BE MAKING A DIFFERENCE and ultimately ENRICHING LIVES during one of the most difficult times of an individual's life. No doubt about it, you will find this opportunity very rewarding.
Covid-19: Temperature checks required prior to entering office. Masks required while in office.

About Heartland Hospice Services

Heartland Home Health Care & Hospice is a growing company dedicated to providing compassionate high quality home health care. We will achieve this by recruiting professional, caring staff, encouraging patients to become active participants in care, and by creating an atmosphere of supportive leadership. We value strong, mutually beneficial relationships with referral sources, employees, patients and caregivers and community at large.
Hospice is a special kind of care designed to provide comfort care as well as spiritual and emotional support for people in the final phase of a terminal illness. Hospice focuses on enhancing the quality of life, rather than length of life. It neither hastens nor postpones death; it affirms life and regards dying as a normal process. The hospice program stresses human values that go beyond the physical needs of the patient. Hospice ensures that patients spend their final days in dignity and comfort.
