A great opportunity awaits for those wanting to make a difference with our natural resources. We are looking for energetic land stewards who are willing to take the time and learn what habitat restoration is all about. Habitat restoration at Deane Dana Natural Area will promote species diversity specifically to the federally endangered California Gnatcatcher and Palos Verde Blue Butterfly. Volunteers will receive training in plant ID, native vs non-native species and ecology.

Please come prepared with appropriate clothes, hat, water and snacks.
