Green Corps and Mighty Earth are launching an exciting campaign in Des Moines to get Tyson Foods to clean up the water pollution in their supply chain. Tyson is the biggest meat producer in the U.S. and to raise all those animals, they need a lot of food. Current industrial-scale practices of feed grain production put a lot of excess fertilizer pollutants into our waterways. We're asking Tyson to ask the farmers that grow their feed to implement some conservation practices on their farms and not pollute Iowa's waters. We will be holding Days of Action, media events, gathering petitions, and morethroughout the fall to get Tyson to take action. Join us to protect our waterways and tell Tyson that it is their duty to be a leader for sustainability.
