Jumpstart is a nonprofit organization working toward the day every child in America enters kindergarten prepared to succeed. In order to achieve this goal, Jumpstart provides children with a consistent routine, low adult-to-child ratios, and positive, meaningful interactions with adults. The Jumpstart curriculum also provides a balance of child-initiated and adult-guided learning opportunities.
We are seeking volunteers to join us at our Family Friday Materials Creations event. We will be creating puzzles, games, booklets and other materials needed in our preschools as well as assembling our family Literacy Kits for our annual Read for the Record Campaign.

Mission Statement
Jumpstart is working toward the day every child in America enters school prepared to succeed.
Description
Each year, one third of America's children arrive on their first day of school without the skills necessary to succeed at grade level. When children begin behind their peers, catching up, especially without additional assistance, is difficult and unlikely. By focusing on enriching the education of preschool students from disadvantaged communities, Jumpstart is making sure every child has a chance at success. Jumpstart is a national nonprofit dedicated to inspiring children to learn, adults to teach, families to get involved, and communities to progress together.
