WE NEED YOU!! Fun Volunteer Opportunity for companies and businesses at McCormick Place on Wednesday, March 14, 2018!! Sertoma Centre is an agency that empowers people with disabilities to live, work and fully participate their community. We are invited to McCormick Place after the International Home and Housewares Show ends to pack up kitchen and home items donated to us from companies who do not want to ship their merchandise back to the warehouse. We go in with about 80 volunteers and pack up items like dishes, glasses, silverware, gadgets and small appliances which are used in our Residential homes and at one of our biggest fundraisers - The Super Sale! WE NEED CORPORATE VOLUNTEERS IN THE DOWNTOWN CHICAGO AREA to join us for this FUN opportunity! This year, we are looking for individuals, small groups and companies in the downtown area and around McCormick Place to help pack up our largest booth of donated items on that Wednesday, March 14, 2018. We will be starting at 9:00 am and estimating we will go till about 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The more volunteers we get - the faster we will go!! And if the whole day doesn't work for your company or department, no worries, we would love to have you come and help even if for a few hours!!
