During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Do you have a licensed therapy dog? If so, we would love to have you on our volunteer team! Patients enjoy pet visits and it gives them hope. A lot of our patients in skilled nursing homes had pets at home so have a piece missing, when the volunteers visit the light in their eyes is amazing!!!
At Heartland Hospice, we give comfort care to those nearing the end of life with an emphasis on Living.
As a Heartland Volunteer, you will become part of our hospice team bringing joy and meaning to someone's life, visiting with an assigned patient. Reading to the them, singing with them, playing music or most important of all just listening.
Our patients live throughout the Greater Cincinnati area, from West Chester, Hamilton, to the Eastside and the Westside, so you will be assigned to a patient in an area of the Tri-State close to you. We need the time and gifts you have to give and maybe you need us.
