Donors, volunteers, and community members play a vital role in the work of the International Center. Maintaining consistent communications with them is necessary for ensuring the ongoing success of refugee resettlement in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The primary responsibilities of the Communications Assistant are updating the website, managing social media accounts, online community outreach through email newsletters and other platforms, and receptionist duties. A completed or in-progress degree in communications, public relations, marketing, advertising, or other similar field of study is preferred but not required.

What we Do:

Refugee Resettlement: Help refugee families rebuild their lives in Southern Kentucky doing the following:

*Airport Pick-up

*Provision of food, clothing, and safe housing upon arrival

*Registration for socail security cards

*School Enrollment

*Assitance with healthcare needs

*provide community and cultural orientation

*ESL classes

*Mental Health Support Groups
