Are you up to date on all of the latest social media trends? Do you love analyzing the process and inner workings of social media platforms? Our organization is looking for a social media guru to help out!
Responsibilities:
- Create and establish a social media strategy
- Generate and share meaningful content for our audience
- Moderate all user-generated content
- Attend events for live streams/stories when necessary
- Have fun!
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management
- Good understanding of major social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Demonstrable social analytics tools knowledge
- Basic Graphic design and editing skills (photo, text)
- Excellent communication skills
- Personal commitment to the organization's goals and objectives.

Mission Statement
WAN has a mission to diminish the destructive effects of ocean pollution. An abundance of clean water is what provides the foundation for communities to prosper. Fish, birds, and all other wildlife depend on clean water to live, just as humans do. We strive to protect species and their habitats and to ensure that all people are protected from the harmful effects of water pollution on human health and our environment. We would like to help others live a more eco-friendly lifestyle, and educate them about how simple day to day tasks have an impact on our planet. Our website provides simple tips on how to help save our oceans. As students, we have observed that teens especially are not educated on the water crisis that our planet is facing. Our goal is to spread awareness throughout communities worldwide, and to inspire young leaders to make a difference.

WAN is a student led 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the earth and all of its inhabitants.
A clean environment ensures healthy living for our current and future generations. The more careless we are towards the environment, the more polluted it will become with toxins, which will one way or another impact all life on our planet.
