Hostel guests and volunteers enjoying a meal. Hostel guests come from very different countries and ways of life. What better way to spread diversity and cultural understanding than through food?!

Spend your Taco Tuesday with us and share Tex-Mex culture with our international guests. Help prepare and serve chicken tacos with salsa verde, rice and beans. After dinner hang out with our guests and play a few rounds of Loteria/Mexican Bingo. Meet travelers from all over the world and show them some of what makes Texas so great. Taco Tuesday occurs weekly on Tuesday evenings.

Hostelling International Houston is a nonprofit hostel located in Montrose. We are founded on an enduring belief in the power of travel to foster a deeper understanding of people, places, and cultures for a more tolerant world.
