Responsibilities
The Studio is a well-defined work space in Minnesota Children’s Museum reminiscent of an artist studio and workshop where visitors can explore the properties and uses of authentic tool and materials, both familiar and unfamiliar. The space leaves ample room for visitors to contribute to the ever changing aesthetics and dimensions of the space.
Flexible and changeable signs throughout The Studio guide visitors through the space and the projects. This volunteer position would work with the Experience Developer and Exhibit Designer to use current esthetic to prototype signs and create a system that allows for easily changing signage for future needs in The Studio.
Qualifications- Good Observations skills and attention to details
- Strong command of the programs in the Adobe Creative Suite (CS4 or newer), particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
- Ability to work creatively in a variety of styles coupled with clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and willingness to work independently with minimal supervision
