Long Term Care Ombudsman Program

AIM Independent Living Center is looking for dedicated, compassionate people to volunteer for the Ombudsman Program in Steuben and Allegany Counties.

The Ombudsman Program fills the need of many long-term care facilities for resident advocates who investigate and resolve complaints made by or on behalf of residents.

Volunteers for the program are required to take a 36-hour training that certifies them to enter a long-term care facility and monitor quality of care, empower residents and investigate any complaints.
