**We will begin back March 17, 2018** Contact us in the meantime to get information on volunteering!
Join us at the Story Tent at Nashville's Farmers Market on Saturday Mornings from 9-2PM or at our Nashville Night Market from 5PM-9PM the third Friday of each month. Volunteers read aloud with kids and offer literacy enrichment opportunities. We have seen kids' confidence in reading and their ability to accomplish goals soar throughout our time at the StoryTent.
Kids earn Book Bucks for reading with volunteers, which they can redeem for prizes and produce. In this way we teach financial literacy, literacy skills, and encourage healthy eating.
We meet every Saturday from 9AM-2PM and the third Friday of every month from 5PM-9PM at the Farmers Market near downtown Nashville.
To volunteer, you must complete a simple application with reference checks before being cleared to volunteer.
Please apply online at www.travelingstories.org/volunteer
The application process usually takes 7-10 days and must be completed before you are able to officially volunteer.
