Volunteer for the largest running event in the City of Santa Clarita! You'll have fun, meet great people, and enjoy the thrill of victory without having to break a sweat. Volunteers will serve as Course Monitors along the race route and make sure that the runners follow the correct course and are going the right way. Volunteers will be assigned at a key location along the race route where there is a fork in the road or a sharp turn. Although the course is clearly marked, many runners are "in the zone" and miss the markers. Course Monitors will show support, cheer, and offer encouragement to runners. Volunteers will get a Santa Clarita Marathon Volunteer shirt and community service hours, if needed.
Age: 15+ (Volunteers 14 years and younger must be accompanied by a parent/guardian)
