American Cancer Society Volunteers have the opportunity to make a difference in their communities by having FUN planning FUN with the local Relay For Life planning committee. Relay For Life is a global movement that takes place in over 5,000 communities across the world. It is a "party with a purpose" that lasts anywhere from 6-24 hours in length where we celebrate cancer survivors, remember those lost, and fight back against cancer. The event involves a non-competitive walk around a track or path, a DJ, live entertainment and food. The planning committee needs your help to bring unique fun to our event!

We need volunteers to help in the areas of accounting, entertainment & activities, leadership, sponsorship recruitment, team and participant recruitment, marketing and public relations, day of event volunteer coordinator, logistics coordinator, volunteer recognition, ceremony planning, luminaria planning, fundraising event planning, donation requests, survivor and caregiver activity planning, online/web site management, social media management, advocacy, survivor and caregiver recruitment and outreach, American Cancer Society mission education representative, secretary, team mentor, youth and children outreach and activities.
