American Cancer Society volunteers have the opportunity to make a difference in their communities by having FUN planning FUN and helping out at our local Relay For Life events. We are looking for volunteers interested in helping at our annual Relay For Life of Ashland event.

Relay For Life is a global movement that takes place in over 5,000 communities across the world. It is a "party with a purpose" where we celebrate cancer survivors, remember those lost, and fight back against cancer. The event involves a non-competitive walk around a track or path, a DJ, live entertainment and food. The planning committee needs your help to bring unique fun to our event!

We need volunteers to help in various areas: General day of event volunteers, accounting, entertainment & activities, leadership, sponsorship, team and participant recruitment, marketing & public relations, logistics, volunteer recognition, ceremonies, Luminaria, fundraising, donation requests, survivor and caregiver activities, online/web site, social media, advocacy, mission, team mentor and youth activities.
