WHAT IS IT?
The Great Family Campout. Pack up your tent or RV and load up the kids for our first Great Family Camp Outof the season at HOOVER YMCA PARK! The best memories are always made when families spend quality time together. Talk a walk on our beautiful grounds, enjoy quiet time with nature, build a bird house, compete in a family friendly relay race, watch a movie under the stars, win door prizes and so much more!
For the very best experience, don't forget to bring lawn chairs, blankets, bug spray and sunscreen.
And this season, we're ramping up our camp to serve you better. We're serving dinner! Hot dogs with chips and beverages* (vegetarian hot dogs will be available), s'mores for dessert and Coffee to get your morning started. Families are encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert to share.
*This is a family environment. Alcohol is prohibited.
We are looking for a few fun friends to help our family campers have an amazing outdoor adventure. We are going to help with registration, s'mores, games, and play stations with a nature/outdoor learning theme for them. The volunteers will need to be engaging and ready to lead (active) the various stations. W
