It has been an amazing year so far, and we want to celebrate it by saying thank you to our amazing volunteers.

Whether it's been Service Projects at the Ethiopian Community in Seattle, or Support Projects in Rainier Beach...we want to say thank you.

Our volunteers are the engine behind what we do, and we would not be where we are today without you.

This year, we're co-hosting the event with our partners over at the National Parks Conservation Association for what promises to be an amazing evening of food, drink and culture.

We're holding the event at the Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience.

ABOUT THE MUSEUM

As a National Park Service Affiliated Area and the first Smithsonian affiliate in the Pacific Northwest, the Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience offers an authentic perspective on a unique version of the American story.

Nationally recognized for our work in creating dynamic, community-driven exhibitions and programs, we put our community at the heart of each exhibition we create. The stories you see and hear within our walls are their authentic experiences and perspectives. From the struggles of early Asian pioneers to accomplished works by national Asian Pacific American artists, their contributions give us a look at what it means to be uniquely American.

You can learn more about the museum at http://www.wingluke.org

The event is free and open to all over the edge of 18....

We certainly hope to see you all there to say thank you for 2017, as we look towards the new year.

Mission Statement

We are on a mission to connect veterans with under-resourced communities: empowering veterans to continue their service, while empowering communities with the talent, skills and preparedness of veterans to generate visible impact.

Description

The Mission Continues is a national, nonpartisan nonprofit that empowers veterans to continue their service, and empowers communities with veteran talent, skills and preparedness to generate visible impact.

Veterans possess the drive and desire to serve others, but without access to the tools needed, their potential to make meaningful impact at the local level remains untapped. On the other end of the spectrum growing numbers of communities in this country are under-resourced and being left behind.

At The Mission Continues, we’re on a mission to connect veterans with under-resourced communities.

Our programs in cities across the country deploy veteran volunteers alongside nonprofit partners and community leaders to improve educational resources, increase access to parks and green spaces, foster neighborhood identity, and more.

Our vision is for all veterans with a desire to continue their service to be part of a movement to transform communities.
