Help us clean up the CSB's gardens (healing, sensory, and vegetable) at a residential treatment facility on Saturday, March 7, 2020 and/or Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. Volunteers will assist with general gardening clean-up, which includes: planting, raking; weeding; spreading mulch/wood chips; moving yard debris to a brush pile; picking up trash and/or disposing of unneeded items; and other duties as needed.
The Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board (CSB) is the public agency that plans, organizes and provides services for people in our community who have mental illness, substance use disorders and/or intellectual disability.
You will get a great feeling of accomplishment and your work will be very appreciated!
If interested please note that you must be at least 18-years or older to participate in CSB volunteer opportunities.

Description
When you join our volunteer team, you will receive training, supervision, diverse educational experiences, and opportunities for personal growth. Various positions are available throughout Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. The times and days available are flexible and include some evening and weekend opportunities, as well as regular weekday hours. By providing direct service, administrative support, or participating in special projects, volunteers are valuable members of our team.
